Local Citizens And Politicians Rail Against Radio Host Michael Savage

San Francisco- A sizable crowd of over 50 people rallied at the radio station where Michael Savage hosts his radio program following very controversial remarks against Autism that he made last week.

KNEW Radio station on Townsend Street had their offices overran by protesters who demonstrated against the station, and against radio talk show host Michael Savage.

Politicians, parents with Autistic children, community activists, and members of the health community who provide care for Autistic children are furious at the comments made on the radio last week by Mr. Savage.

Mr. Savage claimed that Autistic children largely fake their situation, and that they are in fact brats that need to behave.

“Mr. Savage and his remarks are very hurtful to the well being of Autistic children, we want to take him off the air,” Said Evelyn Ain.

Ms. Ain is the President of Autism United in Long Island, New York.

Other people from around the United States attended the protest including Craig Johnson (D-NY) a State Senator from Long Island New York.

“They don’t have a father to tell them, Stop screaming you idiot,” is one quote that Savage said on his radio show.
