
Washington - Kenny Chesney took top honors at the CMAs this week as he took home entertainer of the year.
This is the fourth time in five years that Kenny Chesney has managed to win the coveted entertainer of the year award.
The show was hosted by Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisely, who were also performers and big winners.
Underwood won her third consecutive female vocalist of the year award, while Paisely won male vocalist of the year for the second year in-a-row.
The 40-year old Kenny Chesney beat out Paisley, George Strait, Sugarland, and Keith Urban for entertainer of the year.
He has won the award in 2004, 2006, 2007 and now 2008.
Over the past 6 years, he has sold more than one million concert tickets.
