Paramedics were called to Jackson’s home in Los Angeles early this afternoon. When they arrived, the famous pop star was found in a coma. According to some reports, CPR was performed on the scene, and then Jackson was rushed to the UCLA Medical Center for further treatment.

While the fire department has confirmed that paramedics were in fact called to Jackson’s home, they cannot officially confirm or deny any other information due to confidentiality reasons.

Now various news outlets are reporting that the singer in fact passed away at the hospital, though those reports are not yet confirmed. Many reports suggest that Jackson suffered a damaging heart attack in his home, and that despite medical intervention, he was unable to be revived.

This shocking medical news comes just weeks before Jackson was set to begin a comeback tour. Over the last few months, Jackson had spent much of his time rehearsing for the concerts, which were sold out in advance. There is not much information known about Jackson’s personal life, as he has withdrawn from the public eye ever since he was accused of child molestation a few years ago.

Despite controversy in recent years, Jackson’s impact on the music industry is palpable, and his status as a pop culture icon is irrefutable. Jackson’s representatives have not yet been reached in regard to this current matter.

Los Angeles - Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch Finally sells to the Sycamore Valley Ranch Company, which is a joint venture between Jackson and a division of Colony Capital.

Jackson previously got bailed out from Colony Capital by buying a $23.5 million loan for the sake of Neverland Ranch not going up for auction.

MJ (Michael Jackson) Has not spent any time on the ranch since 2005 because of his molestation charges that are said to have happened on the property and since then Jackson slowly gave up his famous fantasy world.

According to TMZ.com, for the bad image that the molestation charges have left Sycamore will be renaming the ranch name to Sycamore Valley Ranch

Washington - Electronic Arts is ready to launch their own fitness game for the Nintendo Wii with EA Sports Active.

The game is expected to be ready to release in March 2009 and is going to be far more intense than Wii Fit.

The game is said to be like having your very own personal trainer at all times pushing you.

This will help men and women get in shape without going to the gym by running, and doing other exercises.

The game is said to have workouts which are going to be far more rigorous than what was seen in Wii Fit.

Hollywood - Angelina Jolie has plans to stop taking movie roles very soon.

Angelina Jolie may soon be done with the movie industry altogether it appears.

She took part in a recent interview with the BBC to promote her new film Changeling.

In the interview, she stated she is not going to be acting for much longer.

Instead, she is going to shift her focus to being with her family full time.

She stated she is ready to “fade away and get ready to be a grandma one day.”

She is not done yet though as she is signed on for Tomb Raider III, Sin City 2, and others.

Washington - Kenny Chesney took top honors at the CMAs this week as he took home entertainer of the year.

This is the fourth time in five years that Kenny Chesney has managed to win the coveted entertainer of the year award.

The show was hosted by Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisely, who were also performers and big winners.

Underwood won her third consecutive female vocalist of the year award, while Paisely won male vocalist of the year for the second year in-a-row.

The 40-year old Kenny Chesney beat out Paisley, George Strait, Sugarland, and Keith Urban for entertainer of the year.

He has won the award in 2004, 2006, 2007 and now 2008.

Over the past 6 years, he has sold more than one million concert tickets.

Washington - James Bond is set to own the box office once again with the release of Quantum of Solace this Friday.

This marks the second film for Daniel Craig in the role as James Bond, and is a direct sequel to Casino Royale.

It is expected at this point that Quantum of Solace is easily going to top the release of Casino Royale when it launched a few years ago.

This is the 22nd Bond film, as the franchise has grossed over $4 billion to this point in the U.S. and Canada.

The film made its debut in London a few weeks ago and took in $25 million, which breaks all past records.

It has raked in $160 million already and is expected to take in at least $60 million or so in the North American box office this weekend.

Washington - A dead body was found right near the home of American Idol judge Paula Abdul.

It is reported that a woman was found dead right outside of the home of Paula Abdul.

Police believe that the dead body was due to a drug overdose, and/or suicide.

The woman was reportedly a stalker of Paula Abdul, and was watching her.

The victim was seen numberous times before trying to be around Paula Abdul.

Abdul has told sources that she has no clue as to who the woman is

Hollywood - YouTube, the popular video-sharing site is going to let advertisers pay to put ads into search results.

Google has been trying to turn YouTube into a more profitable set-up.

Google bought YouTube for $1.76 billion two years ago.

YouTube does not have much of a revenue model just yet though, but that is soon to change.

YouTube stated that the move is going to try and bring in new ways to help promote videos and such on the site.

YouTube is going to allow videos to be sponsored and such.

They will be displayed by search results the same way sponsored links show up with Google search pages.

The new ads are going to run in the U.S. only to start things off.

Washington - The drummer of Jimi Hendrix, Mitch Mitchell has been found dead in his hotel room.

The British dummer was found dead in his hotel room in the U.S

He was found dead at the age of 61-years old in the Benson Hotel in Portland, Oregon.

He was quite famous back in the 1960s with the band Jimi Hendrix Experience.

He was found dead in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

A medical examiner has come out and stated that he reportedly died of natural causes.

Jimi Hendrix died back in the year 1970.

New York - A new American study shows that obese children have arteries as thick as a man in his mid 40’s.

Scientists at the Children’s Mercy Hospital n in Kansas City have examined the state of the arteries of 70 children aged between 6 and 19 who were mainly an increased risk of cardiovascular problems. Either because they were obese or because they had high cholesterol or a family history of cardiovascular events.

With the help of ultrasound, the researchers scanned and measured the thickness of the inner walls of the arteries of children. Researchers found that approximately 75% of children have the arteries of a man 45 years old, says Professor Geetha Raghuveer, cardiologist at Mercy Hospital for Children in Kansas City and the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Missouri.

“Vascular age is advanced in children with risk factors such as obesity and dyslipidemia,” Raghuveer said in a statement.

“These findings are potentially consistent with predictions that obesity and its complications would result in cardiovascular disease becoming a pediatric illness,” said Dr. David Ludwig, an associate professor of pediatrics at Harvard, who was the author of a previous study which suggested obesity could reduce a child’s lifespan by 2-5 years.

The thickness of participants carotid — artery that supplies the head and neck with oxygenated blood — had an average of 0.45 mm with a maximum of 0.75 mm.

Further studies are needed to determine whether the accumulation of arterial plaque could be reversed if these children lose weight, doing exercise or were treated with an anti-cholesterol, suggested researchers.

Other risk factors for accumulation of plaques in the arteries in children and adolescents are hypertension, smoking and passive resistance to insulin, common in the obese.
