Washington - According to the CDC, the total number of victims of the salmonella tomatoes has now risen to 756.

The CDC has added nearly 200 more cases compared to the number released just a week ago.

This outbreak has quickly become the largest ever of salmonella from tomatoes in the history of the U.S.

The last known illness took place on June 13.

This rise comes as state labs continue to better report the known cases following completed tests

The FDA is still unsure as to where the source of the salmonella tomatoes may be, as they continue to look at parts of Florida,a s well as Mexico.

At least 95 people have been hospitalized, though no deaths have been linked to the outbreak.
