Boston - Google has announced that they have expanded Google Trends to allow the tracking of web sites.
Google Trends began a few years ago and focused on tracking keywords. It has been expanded though and will now allow you to track the popularity and growth of any web site simply by entering a domain.
This can be tested out as of right now by any user, and will also allow you to search for up to 5 sites at a time and compare them.
The states will include daily traffic numbers, as well as where traffic is coming from, and much more.
Early reports from users who have tested it out have resulted in positive press for Google on the move.
