Accoding to a new study, headphones can have a negative impact on heart devices.<br />

Washington (CMRT) - According to a new study, headphones can have a negative impact on heart devices.

Researchers were led by Dr. William Maisel of Beth Israel Medical Center in Boston.

For the study, they tested 60-patients to see how headphones impacted heart devices.

They found that these headphones can harm those who have a pacemaker or an implanted defibrillator.

It is best to keep them off the ears of those who have these types of devices in them.

This is due to the fact that the headphones contain magnets which can mess up the function of them.

They found that the headphones caused issues in 14 of the patients in total, a scary thing to say the least.
